As you can see bellow I have done a lot activities in order to improve my listening. Unfortunately I didn't have much time as I had had in the 3rd semester but still I spent a great number of hours by listening. My favourite activity to improve my listening in this semester was watching movies and serials. I sometimes watched BBC because the English on this channel is really my cup of tea.
The project on youtube "SpeakEnglish with Misterduncan" was also something I enjoyed. It was not only about listening but I can improve my vocabulary and spoken production (I repeated sentences after Mr Duncan).

I spent most hours on "Game of thrones", which is my favourite serial and I enjoyed it very much. One of the reasons that I like Game of thrones is that all actors in the serial speak British English. I am looking forward to the end of the semester because there will be so much time to watch movies and serials.

Reflection and comparison with the 3rd semester
I would like to say that I am really satisfied with myself because I have made another step to be better in listening. In the third semester I was quite afraid of watching movies without subtitles but this semester it was different. I decided to watch my favourite serial "Game of thrones" without subtitles and I was extremely surprised by the fact that I understood almost everything and I could enjoy the serial like an Englishman. I am really proud of myself. I can't say that I was worse at listening in the 3rd semester than I am now, but the difference is that now I feel more self-confident and have a courage to watch movies without English subtitles. Of course I didn't understand everything when I was watching "Game of thrones" but I understood the context and there was no need to use a dictionary so I could fully enjoy the serial.
The only problem about listening is with the exercises I had to do for Practical language and also with listening exercises in tests. I understand quite well but the problem is that I am not able to remember what was said at the beginning of the exercises and then it's very difficult to answer the questions under the exercises. In fact I was quite lucky with the exercises and I scored about 90% but I wasn't sure about my answers because as I said, I didn't remember all the information. I am not complaining, I am just describing my difficulties with my listening skills.
The truth is, that I was always lucky with tests and exercises but to be honest, many times I had to guess because there is something wrong wth my memory :-).
To sum up this kind of activity I would like to mention that the most significant aspect was to overcome my fear of watching movies without subtitles. I wasn't able to deal with the fear in the 3rd semester but now ........ HURRAY!!!!!!
