Independent Learning
Independent learning is a very important part of my present teaching. I do a lot of things for my students (special plans for their self-study and a great number of activities which I use during my class) and there is a risk that they can feel less responsible for their roles as students. Therefore, I have to keep my teaching in balance so I have to create some more independent activities in order to be able to make my students to step out of their comfort zone. I must admit that it is sometimes very difficult but when I notice that something is wrong then I think about it twice and thanks to that I can improve my teaching. I am not a very experienced teacher but I do my best and I am learning how to be better at teaching. Independent study is one of the most difficult parts of teaching. At least for me.
