I'm able to read some books mostly without using a dictionary. For example, these days I'm reading a book titled "The fault in our stars" and I have to say that there is no problem with understanding the content of the book. I don't know all words in the text but it doesn't matter, because I'm able to understand the context of the book. In fact, this book is not difficult to understand. I tried to read "The Elegance of the Hedgehog" and I had to stop reading the book, because there were really many words I didn't know so it was useless for me to read it. The tempo of my reading is quite good, I'm able to read books in English almost as fast as in Czech. Not so fast but almost like that. I can see only one important problem about my reading in English, and it's all about my vocabulary skills which are not on the high level, but I read books, I read many materials on the website for learning English, I watch movies, I learn English at the university and at home, I write a lot of articles (stories, portfolio, forums, facebook), I have conversation lessons on the skype almost four times a week and it means that I'm going to make really good progress in my vocabulary skills. I thing so. :-)
