September 2015 - December 2015
This semester I had to write a lot of contributions for subjects as Practical language, British history and Didactics of English so it's quite difficult to say why I chose to write all this articles - the answer is indeed simple. "I had to write them".

Reflection:
Speaking about writing, I'd like to say that if I compare my contribution e.g. from the 1st semester with those from the 3rd semestr I must say that I have made an overal improvement - it is not a surprised I think, because learning Grammar and vocabulary there should be visible some improvement. There is a lot I have to learn but it is always a good feeling when I am able to see at least a small improvement. I think that I am able to express myself properly without using a dictionary (not 100% true - I use dictionary from time to time). I make some mistakes and sometimes even very stupid mistakes, of course but the good thing is that I am able to recognise the mistakes and learn from them.
I like writing so I enjoyed the activity very much, especially the contributions for the forums of the subjects mentioned above. There was only one particular task I had difficulty writing it - A balanced argument. 07 A balanced argument.pdf (20298)
As I mentioned above I really like writing. To be more specific I like writing stories because I can express my thoughts, but when I have to write something where there is a need to follow some rules I have always problems with that. Moreover, in the balanced argument I have to use "formal English" and I must admit that I'm not very good at it. I'm not complaining, I know that it is important to be able to express myself in formal English. I am only saying that it is quite difficult for me and I had to use a dictionary very often to be sure that I didn't make a mistake. I spent a lot of time writing the argument which was very useful for improving my English, because the more time I learn English the better.
Generally, I don't have problems with writing. It's more comfortable and easier for me than e.g. speaking, because I have more time to think about grammar and proper vocabulary to use. Sometimes I have to use a dictionary to express my thoughts properly, but it's not a problem, because I can learn some new words or improve my passive vocabulary.
