Writing
My writing contributions during my study at the university:
There were a lot of writing activities this semester. I had to improve my writing skills even if I hadn't wanted to, because since the beginning of the semester I have written at least about 60 pages. Nowadays I feel more confident when I have to write something, it doesn't take me as much time as in the 4th semester because my vocabulary is better and it is easier to create sentences. I am also better at grammar and that's why my sentences are more gramatically correct. On the other hand, I have problems when I have to write something formal because I like writing my own opinions and toy with words. In my opinion I am better at writing not only because the writing itself but also thanks to the reading activities - the books I had to read this semester.
As I said above, I do not like when I have to write something "formal" and keep some rules. That's not exactly my cup of tea so it was not easy to write the "Articles review." On the other hand the process of writing the "Articles review" was much easier than it had been in the last semester. Moreover, I was really proud of myself that I had got 30 points out of 30. It was an encouraging result for my further study.
I think that writing is more or less the best part of my English together with listening, because the number of activities I had to do during my study is just enourmous. Some people or students think that nowadays writing is not very useful for learning English but I do not agree, because through the writing I can improve not the writing itself but also my vocabulary which is something I need badly.
I think that my level of English writing is B2-C1.
